1. Use of Our Website and Digital Platforms

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use our website and community app for lawful personal and informational purposes only. You agree not to use our platforms in any manner that: violates any applicable local, national or international law or regulation of the Philippines; infringes upon the intellectual property rights of Bukluran or any third party; involves the transmission of any unrequested or harmful communications; attempts to gain unauthorized access to any part of our systems, servers or databases; disrupts or damages the normal operation of our website or app; or is used to collect or harvest personal data of other users without their consent. You agree that we may suspend or terminate your access at any time if we determine that you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct that we determine to be harmful to Bukluran, its members or the communities we serve.

2. Membership Terms

All Filipinos and supporters of our mission, regardless of geographic location, are eligible for membership in Bukluran. Membership is free and strictly voluntary. By applying for membership through our official form, you agree to: Ensure that the information you provide is accurate, truthful, and complete; Uphold the values, mission, and code of conduct of Bukluran at all times; Treat all fellow members, beneficiaries, volunteers, and partner organizations with respect and dignity; Notify us immediately of any changes to your contact information or membership details; and Acknowledge that membership does not confer any ownership interest or financial entitlement in the organization. Bukluran reserves the right to reject, suspend or terminate the membership of any person whose conduct it finds to be contrary to these terms, its organizational principles, or Philippine law.

3. Volunteer Participation

Bukluran programs are run by volunteers who give their time, skills and energy on a voluntary and unpaid basis. As a volunteer, you acknowledge that you understand that you are volunteering at your own risk, and you take full responsibility for your own personal safety during all activities; that Bukluran will make every effort to provide a safe and organized environment for all volunteer activities; that photos, videos or other media taken during activities may be used by Bukluran for communications, social media and advocacy unless you provide written notice opting out of such use; and that Bukluran does not provide compensation, employment benefits or insurance coverage to volunteers.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on this website and community app, including but not limited to text, articles, blog posts, photographs, graphics, logos, icons, program descriptions and organizational materials, is the exclusive property of Bukluran ng Kalinga ng Mamamayang Distrito Singko Inc. and is protected under the Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines (Republic Act No. 8293) and other applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, republish, modify, transmit, publicly display, create derivative works from or commercially exploit any of our content without our prior written consent. You may share our content for non-commercial purposes only, provided that proper attribution is given to Bukluran, the content is not altered in any way, and is shared in its original form.

5. In-Kind Support & Donations

All in-kind support provided to Bukluran is on a voluntary basis. All support arrangements are non-transferable and non-refundable, unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing. Bukluran commits to using all resources in a direct and transparent manner to support its community programs and organizational operations, in full compliance with its SEC registration requirements and the standards of Philippine nonprofit governance. 6. Third-Party Advertising and External Links

In the future, our website might display advertisements from third party services, like Google Adsense, to help support our organizational activities. We do not endorse or assume any liability for the content, accuracy or privacy practices of any third party advertisements or linked websites. Your dealings and transactions with advertisers or any linked third-party sites are solely between you and that third-party, and Bukluran shall not be responsible or liable for any damages or losses that result from such dealings or transactions.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our website, Community App and all related services are provided on a "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties, express or implied. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, totally error-free or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not guarantee the absolute accuracy, completeness or timeliness of any information presented on our platforms. However we will always make an effort in good faith to make sure the information published is accurate and reliable.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under applicable Philippine law, Bukluran, its officers, directors, employees, and volunteers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of or inability to use our website, app, or services, or your participation in our programs, even if Bukluran has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the breach thereof shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the appropriate courts of Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. The Parties agree to attempt to resolve Disputes informally and in good faith prior to a Party’s filing of any formal legal proceedings.

10. Amendments to These Terms

We may modify or revise these Terms from time to time in our sole discretion to reflect changes in our operations, applicable applicable laws or organizational policies. We will post the new Terms on this page with a new effective date. You are responsible for reviewing these Terms periodically. By continuing to use the website or services after such changes have been posted, you accept such changes.
